Health, according to the World Health Organization, is "a state of complete physical,mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease and infirmity. The meaning of health has develop over time. A variety of definitions have been used for different purposes over
time. Health can be promoted by encouraging healthful activities, such
as regular physical exercise and adequate sleep and by reducing or avoiding unhealthful activities or situations, such as smoking or excessive stress.
6 ways to maintain a healthy body:
1.Eating Healthy body: A healthy diet is essential for good health and nutrition. It protects you against many chronic noncommunicable diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes and cancer.
Eating a variety of foods and consuming less salt, sugars and saturated
and industrially-produced trans-fats, are essential for healthy diet.
2.Do yoga and Exercise: Yoga as exercise is a physical activity consisting mainly of postures often connected by flowing sequences, sometimes accompanied by breathing exercise, and frequently ending with relaxation or meditation.
3.Drinking enough water: Drinking water is very essential for our body to stay healthy and hydrated. We should drink water.
4. Getting good sleep: The recommended amount of sleep for a healthy adult is at least seven hours. It is very crucial foe a healthy body.It helps to improve concentration power,strength ,stronger immune system, lower inflammation etc.
5.Away from alcohol or smoke: Smoking and intaking of alcohol can effect our body from which can make our body unhealthy. So, avoiding smoke or alcohol is very crucial for a healthy body.
6.DO NOT SKIP MEALS: Skipping meals can lead to out-of-control hunger and frequently results in over-indulging. Snacking between regular meals can help if you are pressed for time. At least two balanced meals is very important for a healthy body.
Fitness is a state of health and well being, the ability to perform aspects of sports, occupation and daily activities. It is generally achieved through a proper nutrition and exercise.
